10.   Naruto

Well, I guess it had to place at some point (sigh). A young boy, Uzumaki Naruto, aspires to become the leader of his ninja village, but it is doubtful that he can even graduate his ninja academy. Although a big mischief maker, little does Naruto know about a dark secret sealed inside his body, which causes many to shun him. Despite this, Naruto and his friends manage to make a good deal of fun comedy and pack some action in.


9.   Furi Kuri (Fooly Cooly)

A young boy named Noata is hanging out with his absent brother's girlfriend, Mamimi. The girl seems to enjoy making fun of the younger boy instead of taking him seriously. Suddenly, an insane girl atop a motorscooter runs him over and whacks him over the head with her guitar. 'Nuff said.


8.   Onegai Teacher (Please Teacher)

Mizuho Kazami, a beautiful young woman, went to a school as a Japanese language teacher. In reality, she is a representative of the Galaxy Association sent to observe Earth. Her troubles begin (what, you think being an alien is a problem?) when one of her students, Kei Kusanagi, discovers her true nature. In order to keep her secret, she and Kei get married. The weird couple has plenty of secrets, can they keep them from the rest of the class?


7.   Fruits Basket

Honda Tohru is a young girl who lost her mother in a car accident. Never the quitter, Honda has begun to live in a forest near the school, working hard to honor her mom's memory. One day, she meets two other kids from her school who live in a cabin in the same forest, Sohma Yuki and his cousin Shigura. Will this meeting lead to new friendships and relationships? Why do they live in the forest? Why is the title Fruits Basket?


6.   Great Teacher Onizuka

Onizuka is an ex-motorcycle gang member who took a dramatic profession change. Now he teaches high school to get away from all the action and excitement. Tough on the outside and all heart within, Onizuka took this job to make a difference and...to meet girls?!? His street smarts come in handy when he deals with students, bullies, and even colleagues. The Great Teacher Onizuka still has many lessons to learn!


5.   Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu

Suzumiya Haruhi introduced herself to her class with the words: "I have no interest in ordinary humans. If there are any aliens, time travelers, sliders, or espers here.. come join me. That is all!” Responding to most people with the snswers "Shut up!", "Moron!" od "Be quiet!", Kyon, a fellow highschool freshman manages to talk to his classmate normally after some trouble. The two eventually form the SOS Brigade, whose sole purpose is to find aliens, time travelers, and espers.

 

4.   One Piece

  The great Pirate King, Gol D. Rodgers, left the fabulous treasure he accumulated before his death to whoever found it first, giving this cryptic message as a clue: "I left it all in One Piece." The young Luffy, a boy who can stretch himself due to a run-in with an irate restraunt owner, sets out to become the next great Pirate King and find One Piece with his hilariously crazy crew.

 

3.   Cowboy Bebop 

 After the year 2071 A.D. and the dispersal of humans from the planet Eden, with new twisted concepts of justice, freedom, violence, and love. Spike and Jet are two "cowboy" bounty hunters from Eden who search the galaxy for criminals in their spaceship, the Bebop. Along the way, they meet many different characters in their hilarious adventures, such as the intelligent dog Ein, the hacker-child Ed, and the assassin Faye Valentine.

 

2.   Love Hina

Keitaro promised a childhood sweetheart that the two would go to the prestigious Tokyo U. together. A decade later, Keitaro has become an artist and dreamer, girl-challenged, and isn't doing to well at school at that. On top of things, he doesn't even remember the girl's name! He becomes the manager of the Hinata Inn girl dormitories when his Aunt hires him on, and there he meets two other canidates for Tokyo U., who could be his girl; Naru and Mutsume. Also there are the wacky personalities of Kitsune, Kaolla Sue, and Shinobu, and many more.

 

1.   Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu!

This is the second installment of the wet-your-pants funny Full Metal Panic? series. Normally, school is a peaceful environment for learning. And there goes Sagara blowing up Kaname's shoe-locker again, because he thought he saw someone tamper with it. In fact, it was on;y a little love letter for Kaname, but it could've been dangerous. And when the girl gets into trouble, Sagara takes the guise of Bonta-kun, the gun-wielding butt-kicking school mascot. Peaceful, huh?
